The allure of Arabian perfume was known throughout the world more than four thousand years ago, when the Silk Route established Arabia’s dominance in the fragrance trade. But it was not until 1974 that the first modern Arabian perfume company was born in the UAE: Swiss Arabian.
In the early seventies, the discovery of petroleum transformed the Gulf nations into exploding economies. Sensing an opportunity, Mr. Hussein Adam Ali, a skilled perfumer from Yemen, established the first perfume manufacturing company in partnership with Givaudan – a France-based Swiss company and the world’s largest and most respected manufacturer of exclusive fragrance ingredients.

Crafting Success

While the old look of the brand reflected the warm colors of the desert and its Arabian roots, the new style is a sleek combination of black and white and exudes modernity, allure, and elegance.

The stark contrast of these shades tells a story of its perfect mix of fragrances inspired by the East and the West. ‘The Perfect Mix,’ the company’s tagline, aptly describes Swiss Arabian’s creations and philosophy and promises to deliver nothing but the best mix of fragrances to its customers. As part of this rebranding project, Swiss Arabian collaborated with renowned Emirati singer, Shamma Hamdan, Bin Baaz, Roaa Al Sabban, Mim Design and many other major influencers across UAE & GCC. Shamma Hamdan is blessed with a voice that has captured the hearts of millions across the Arab world, Shamma personally composed and sung an exclusive jingle for the Swiss Arabian brand.
She was also the guest of honor at the re-launch of the brand showroom at Sahara Centre, Sharjah. With this new look, the brand has gone all out to ensure that customers can enjoy a completely new experience when shopping at Swiss Arabian. By applying their heritage and technical expertise to blend authentic ingredients from the East and the West, Swiss Arabian’s mission is to help every individual find their unique perfect mix of fragrances.
