As it settles, the heart reveals its floral core. The peony adds a soft, dewy freshness, while a whisper of nutmeg provides a subtle, intriguing spice. The dry down is where the fragrance truly shines, melting into a serene, musky embrace with comforting vanilla and the fuzzy, fabric-soft warmth of Cashmeran. In the current combination, its classic, deep, and slightly honeyed character is sometimes gently overshadowed by the peony and the sparkling top notes. Amplifying this gorgeous rose would elevate the entire fragrance, allowing its timeless soul to resonate more powerfully from the heart through to the base. It would transform an excellent perfume into an absolutely iconic one.

Even as is, Rose 01 is a fantastic fragrance—elegant, long-lasting, and uniquely compelling. It’s a must-try for rose enthusiasts and anyone seeking a stylish, gender-fluid scent with real depth. I wear it with love and will continue to do so, all while hoping my one wish for a richer rose crescendo might someday come true. Highly recommended
